‍Ever since I first picked up my dad’s handicam when I was 8 years old, I’ve called myself a filmmaker. I learned to edit by plugging two VCRs together and hitting “start / stop / record”. I was an honours grad in film school and quickly became tech-savvy by working in state of the art production facilities in Vancouver

I’ve always loved the craft. But my appreciation for the power of storytelling was made real when I took a job as the in-house videographer for Lush Cosmetics. It was there that I was exposed to the complexity of issues from around the world that touch the lives of people, who at their core, are just like me. I learned to listen, comprehend, empathize and retell their stories through my lens.
